What is the meaning of Rooting your Android Mobile Phone
What is rooting and should you be doing it to your Android Mobile device?
The advantages and disadvantges of Rooting your Android Mobile phone:
Most of us must have come across Mobile phones being rooted, but would not have known what rooting a mobile phone actually meant till now.
Rooting is the ability to gain "superuser" privileges to the Android operating system. When you are using a device (mobile phone or Device) bought in the market, you have guest privileges. What rooting does is, it grants you "superuser" privileges which allows you to make changes to the system, run scripts which would normally be blocked with a standard "guest" user profile.
However, having said it, it is not advisable to root your Android phone or mobile device, rooting or modifying your phone in any way can cause your mobile device to no longer work and void its warranty from the manufacturer etc.
